Abdul Rahman

Assistant Director, Intelligent Systems Lab

Abdul Rahman is the assistant director of the Hume Center's Intelligent Systems Lab. He is also the Commonwealth Cyber Initiative AI Testbed director.

Previously, Rahman served as chief scientist at Fidelis Cybersecurity, vice president of strategy and technology at Mantech, vice president of technical delivery and chief scientist at TexelTek Inc., and held several positions at Booz, Allen, Hamilton, including lead of modeling, simulation, and war gaming. He has a deep understanding of industry and government requirements.

Rahman earned a B.S. in both mathematics and physics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He earned a M.S. in physics as well as a Ph.D. in both physics and mathematics, all from Howard University.
