CyberGirls @ Virginia Tech
Do you like to solve puzzles, learn new things and want to make the world a safer place? Then CyberGirls @ Virginia Tech is the place for you! It is estimated that a cyberattack takes place every 39 seconds. To help keep our computers and networks safe, we need more cybersecurity professionals. Through hands on activities led by Virginia Tech staff and faculty, you will learn about the multiple facets of cybersecurity and possible careers. The field is growing rapidly, making it an in-demand and highly profitable career path. No previous experience needed. The program is designed and intended for rising 8th and 9th grade young women.
