About the event

The manufacturing landscape has been changing recently with the adoption of Industry 4.0 principles. Defense manufacturers are responding rapidly to these principles and looking to embrace the digital age within the manufacturing shop floor. We’ll talk, at a very high level, about Northrop Grumman, defense manufacturing, and key topics we need academia to address. Further, we will discuss the Future Technical Leader (FTL) program that is a career advancement program hiring Masters and Ph.D students from top engineering colleges and universities. The FTL program allows for an employee to participate in three 12 month rotations around the company to experience all of that Northrop Grumman has to offer. The FTL program is currently hiring Masters and Ph.D students graduating in the 2021-2022 academic year.
