About the Event
During this panel, members of the Women @ M.C. Dean Employee Resource Group share insights into the company's culture, emphasizing diversity, inclusion, and professional growth opportunities for women in the organization. We will discuss how M.C. Dean supports its female employees through mentorship, leadership development, and work-life balance initiatives. Panelists will also discuss their personal journeys, challenges, and successes within the company, offering an authentic view of the workplace environment and its commitment to fostering a supportive and empowering atmosphere for women.

About the Speakers:
Hannah Newman is a Design Engineer II in Security & Electronic Systems at M.C. Dean. She graduated from Georgia Tech in 2021 with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and has since been the lead design engineer on security systems at several FAA and EPA buildings across the country. In her free time she enjoys painting and other crafts, rock climbing, reading, and volunteering with her church.
Bianca Punger is an Engineer 1 in the Security & Electronics Systems division at M.C. Dean. Bianca studied biomedical engineering for her bachelors and masters degree. She started working at M.C. Dean in 2023 while studying for her masters at the George Washington University. Bianca started out at M.C. Dean as a rotational engineer, where she had the opportunity to work with a design team and installation team. Bianca now works at the Library of Congress and helps on projects for the U.S. Marshalls. On her free time, Bianca enjoys reading, working out, and traveling.
Chloe Alexander has been a Design Engineer I in Security & Electronic Systems at M.C. Dean since graduating from Virginia Tech in 2023 with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. Her favorite part of her job is traveling to the work sites where her drawings are being built. In her spare time she likes hiking, swimming, playing beach volleyball with the M.C. Dean team, and is currently training for a half marathon.
Sarah Cassway is an Engineer 2 in Security & Electronic Systems division at M.C. Dean. She graduated from George Washington University in 2021 with a bachelors degree in Systems Engineering. She is currently pursuing her masters degree in Engineering Management from Johns Hopkins University. She holds duel roles as a project manager and technical lead for various electronic security systems at the Pentagon. In her free time, Sarah enjoys cooking, traveling, and being active.
