This seminar offers a unique window into the world of security clearances, as well as some impactful projects they enable at Collins Aerospace. Attendees will gain insights into the standards and processes required to secure these clearances and the career opportunities they open up. We will also discuss some of the pioneering projects at Collins Aerospace that depend on such high-level security measures. Ideal for students interested in national security careers, this seminar will demystify the clearance process and showcase some of the work being done at Collins Aerospace.

About the Speakers

Katie Allen, Electrical Engineering Senior Manager

Katie Allen is a seasoned engineering manager at Collins Aerospace, where she has built a career based on trust and reliability. Approaching her tenth year with the company, Katie has navigated various stages of the design lifecycle, from initial concept discussions and requirements capture to product obsolescence. Her current role focuses on developing products that support warfighters in contested environments, ensuring that these tools perform reliably under critical conditions. Katie's leadership is characterized by her commitment to innovation and quality, as well as her dedication to authenticity and fostering lasting relationships across the organization.  

Becky Kuzmich, Campus Manager

Becky is one of our Campus Managers on the Campus Programs team, working with 6 of our partner schools. She enjoys coming to campuses, interacting with the students and staff and building connections. Becky has a background in College admissions and Campus recruiting. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication from Southern Connecticut State University, and is based remotely in Connecticut.
