Representatives from the National Security Agency, Security and Counterintelligence division, will talk to students about the mission and components of Security and Counterintelligence divisions within the Agency, with a particular focus on the Counterintelligence Investigator and Polygraph Examiner work roles. They will provide an overview of the qualifications for the position with an emphasis on the soft skills and experience that make a successful CI Investigator and Polygraph Examiner. They will provide a detailed overview of the Special Agent's training program associated with the CI Investigator work role, as well as a detailed overview of Polygraph training at the National Center for Credibility Assessment. They will discuss the overall hiring/security process with the students, provide insight into what a typical day looks like for someone hired into these roles, and discuss the benefits and opportunities for career growth and development associated with becoming a Special Agent/CI Investigator or Polygraph Examiner.
